Regional Director of Research
Josh Brant is the Regional Director of Research in Voit Real Estate Services’ San Diego office. Josh’s responsibilities include supplying statistics, graphs, and market insight for presentations and marketing materials, overseeing various internal databases,and generating market reports. Josh began his career in real estate by obtaining a California Appraiser’s License. Since that time, Josh has accumulated over a decade of experience in commercial real estate research. Josh began in research at CoStar, the largest third party provider of commercial real estate information and statistics. At CoStar, Josh participated in front line research and aggregation of all facets of commercial real estate data and reporting, and was recognized multiple times as a top performer. Josh moved into commercial real estate brokerage inhouse research following his time at CoStar. Josh’s experience with research for commercial real estate brokerages spans a large gamut. Josh has provided research and analysis for nearly every property type, and scores of geographies across North America, and has done so at both an entrepreneurial regional brokerage, and a Fortune 500 international brokerage. Beyond the high level data gathering, analyzing, and reporting, Josh has been involved in transactions ranging from small leases with office, retail, and industrial space, to sales transactions in the nine figure range with companies such as UCSD, and international REITs.
